Mercedes-Benz Loyalty Program
If you replace your off-lease vehicle with a new Mercedes-Benz vehicle, we will credit your account for excess wear and use charges up to $500. Plus, if you lease or finance your next Mercedes-Benz vehicle with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS), you will receive a credit for the vehicle turn-in fee, up to $595. Prepare for Lease-End
Once you’ve made your decision, the process for returning your vehicle starts approximately four months prior to your lease maturity date and should include the following steps:
Step 1: Schedule Your Vehicle Pre-Inspection
Prior to turning in your leased vehicle, schedule your complimentary pre-inspection with the independent third-party inspection company. You choose the time and location that’s most convenient, including at home, at work, or another convenient location of your choosing.

Step 2: Review Pre-Inspection Results
Review your pre-inspection report available online at www.autovinlive.com. Then explore the option of repairing any excess wear and use items with Mercedes-Benz of Bloomington in advance of your expected vehicle return date.
Please note, if you are replacing your off-lease vehicle with a new Mercedes-Benz, we will credit your account for excess wear and use charges up to $500.
Step 3: Return Your Vehicle
Contact Mercedes-Benz of Bloomington to schedule a day and time to return your vehicle.
Prior to returning your vehicle, be sure to detach your vehicle from your Mercedes me connect account. You can do so in the Mercedes me portal: https://me.mercedes-benz.com. Upon detachment, your vehicle will be removed from your Mercedes me account and all the services will be deactivated. By removing the connection between you and your vehicle, this allows for a smoother transition into your new Mercedes-Benz vehicle. This detachment means that your vehicle is no longer tied to your account.
Step 4: Lease-End Statement
Get your final lease-end statement in the mail, detailing any charges incurred for mileage overages and/or excess wear and use. Charges will be based on the final, third-party vehicle inspection to be conducted at vehicle turn-in.

Balloon Financing offers the privileges of owning with one lump sum balloon payment at the end of the finance term, resulting in lower monthly payments than standard financing.
If your vehicle is declared a total loss, we’ll cover the difference between the insurance proceeds and the balance owed to Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, less any deductible.
When you lease, you’ll be able to get a new vehicle every two to three years (typical lease term 24-36 months). Plus, shorter lease cycles allow for leasing of new vehicles with the latest technology.
Leased vehicles are restricted to the United States. However, limited vacation arrangements may be made for up to 30 days in Mexico and Canada. Please call 1.800.654.6222 for details and assistance.
As a lessee, you are responsible for: payment of license plate and registration fees, sales and personal property taxes, and parking tickets, and other traffic citations. See your lease for further details.
If you need to update your Billing and/or Garaging Address, you can do so while logged in to mbfs.com by selecting "Update Personal Info," or on the My MBFS app. You may also include your new address on the Invoice Remittance when you send in your monthly payment, or call the Client Services Center at 1.800.654.6222. Changes to your Garaging Address (this pertains to lease accounts only) may result in a tax increase or decrease on your account. For more information on the tax impact of changing your Garaging Address, please contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). For assistance in locating the DMV for your state, you may visit www.onlinedmv.com.
Mercedes-Benz Financial Services will provide you the documentation for registration in your new state. Just give us your new address using one of the following two options: - Call the Client Service Center at 1.800.654.6222. - Include your new address on the Invoice Remittance form when you send your monthly payment
Generally speaking, all taxes assessed to your leased vehicle are your responsibility. For more information, review your copy of the lease agreement, or call the Client Service Center at 1.800.654.6222.
Your financial obligation ends with your last payment, provided no other charges are outstanding. You may pay off the remaining balance of your loan at any time before the last payment is due.

If you are currently using the Auto Pay program to make monthly payments, please request cancellation of Auto Pay at least 10 days prior to paying off or trading in your vehicle to ensure that the funds are not debited in error.
